One Punch Man

Background: In the not so distant future, diverse kinds of monsters attack the cities of Earth. Their goal? To conquer them all -and slaughter everyone in the way. The Hero Association recruits the valiant souls of men who will battle against such monsters -and crime in general.

Plot: Enter Saitama, a man who is a hero for fun. He is jobless, bald, and has a particular characteristic: he is stupidly strong. So strong that he KOs everything in a single punch. Saitama is the protagonist of the one Punch Man series, which follows his many battles against monsters, the lessons given to his student Genos, and his perils to reach the veggie sales at his favorite supermarket.

Sakti's review: It's been a while since I've watched an anime that incorporates action and humor so well, and One Punch Man delivers both. The fights are well-thought, the enemies list endless, and best part of all, there IS a context to the whole story. After season 1 there are many questions left, which will open the path for a second season of weirdness, awesomeness, and laughter.

So who made One Punch Man?

One Punch Man is a Japanese webcomic and manga series created by ONE, a man who happened to be born in the same year as I did (1986) and who is a mangaka for hobby. He hosts One Punch Man in his own website, and when he got around 20K hits per day he was contacted by Young Jump Next. Next thing that happened is that his manga got redrawn by  Yusuke Murata, who made ONE's manga change from this:
